Daisy Chains Pre-School, West Wickham, Cambridge

Daisy Chains Pre-School Fees

Daisy Chains Pre-School charges £7.50 per session for children who are not eligible for Government Funding (under the age of 3 years) or are not covered by the Employer Childcare Vouchers.

Income from the fees , Government funding and vouchers is allocated towards the day to day running of Daisy Chains, mainly on staff salaries and regular outgoings such as insurance, membership fees, consumables, etc.

To supplement our income, fundraising is vital to Daisy Chains' survival as would not be able to continue to run our pre-school alone on just our income from fees.

Early Years Funding Scheme:

Early Years or Government Education funding is available the term after your child turns 3 years of age. This means that any child who is over 3 years of age is entitled to free learning funded by your local Government.  Under this scheme, these children are entitled to five sessions of 2.5 hours per week.

Once your child becomes eligible, a member of staff will give you a form to complete and sign for Daisy Chains to claim these sessions from the Government.

More information on when your child is eligible is available on the Cambridgeshire County Council's Website.

Employer Childcare Vouchers
Daisy Chains also accepts employer childcare vouchers such as Accor and Busy Bees.

Employers may offer help with childcare by using childcare vouchers, which can give a huge saving on your tax and National Insurance contributions. Talk to your employer about the support that is available. If the company does not offer help with childcare currently, you should ask them if they would provide the vouchers through a very simple to administer system run by the company Accor.

For more information, please take a look at the HM Revenue and Customs website.
